This corner of my studio

I designed this studio with more than art-making in mind. (It is also a guesthouse). So it doesn’t have the classic north light orientation. So I designed tack boards on rollers so they can be moved for shade. Jeff Kotlarz built them and did a great job. Here you see one of them on the far left, and another one next to the easel. The painting on this tack board (the one in the middle) is “Anna Karenina.” The one above it (next to the color wheel) is “Investigators were suspicious of Mrs. Jones’ account because the blood spatter was on TOP of the gunpowder residue.” Outside, you can barely see my sculpture "Bride and Her Bachelors" (spoof on Duchamp).
